For safety, legal, and international transport compliance reasons, certain items cannot be sent using Send Air Global’s services. This list is a guideline and not exhaustive; when in doubt, please contact us before ordering or arranging delivery.
1. Important Notice
If we discover prohibited items within a shipment associated with your account, we may refuse service, return the items (where possible), cooperate with authorities, or dispose of the items in a safe and compliant manner. No refund will be issued for prohibited items that are destroyed, confiscated, or otherwise removed from the shipment.
2. Absolutely Prohibited Items
The following categories are strictly prohibited and cannot be accepted under any circumstances:
- Illegal drugs, narcotics, and controlled substances
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition, and weapon parts
- Explosives, fireworks, flares, and related materials
- Flammable liquids and gases (e.g., gasoline, lighter fluid, certain paints)
- Compressed gas cylinders and pressurized containers
- Poisons, toxic substances, and corrosive chemicals
- Radioactive materials and biological agents
- Counterfeit goods, fake branded items, and pirated products
- Stolen goods or items obtained illegally
- Live animals, insects, or reptiles
- Human remains or body parts
- Cash, currency notes, coins intended as legal tender, or monetary instruments
- Credit cards, debit cards, or bank cheque books
- Items banned or restricted by airlines, customs, or international transport regulations
3. Restricted & Special-Handling Items
Certain items may be restricted or allowed only under special conditions. These may require additional documentation, packaging, or may only be accepted in limited quantities. Examples include:
- Electronics containing lithium batteries (laptops, phones, power banks)
- Perfumes, deodorants, sprays, and aerosols
- Alcohol-based products and flammable cosmetics
- Nutritional supplements and vitamins, especially in bulk quantities
- Food items, particularly meat or animal-based products
- Medical devices or equipment
- High-value jewelry, watches, and precious metals
- Collectibles, artwork, or antiques
These items may be subject to airline, carrier, customs, and import restrictions. Please contact us before ordering or arranging delivery for such items so that we can confirm whether they can be accepted and under what conditions.
4. Items With Local Regulatory Concerns
Bangladesh has specific laws and regulations covering, for example:
- Telecommunication devices (phones, routers, walkie-talkies, etc.)
- Certain categories of electronics requiring approval or registration
- Medical and pharmaceutical products
- Bulk quantities of branded goods intended for resale
If you are ordering items for resale or commercial use, you may need additional import licenses or documentation. It is your responsibility to ensure you have all required permissions and approvals before using our services for such items.
5. Misdeclared or Hidden Items
You must not attempt to hide prohibited items inside other products or misdeclare the nature, contents, weight, or value of a shipment associated with your account. If we discover such items or misdeclaration:
- We may suspend or permanently block your account.
- We may dispose of the items or hand them over to the relevant authorities.
- You may be responsible for any resulting fines, penalties, or additional costs.
6. Airline & Carrier Rules
In addition to our own rules, we must comply with airline, carrier, and logistics partner regulations. These rules can change frequently and may lead to last-minute restrictions on certain items.
If an item becomes restricted after you have ordered it or arranged for it to be sent to us for processing, we will inform you of your options, which may include:
- Returning the item to the original seller (if possible)
- Arranging an alternative transport method (if permitted and available)
- Disposing of the item safely and in compliance with regulations
Any additional costs for returns, alternative transport, or disposal will be your responsibility.
7. How to Check if an Item is Allowed
If you are unsure whether a specific item is allowed:
- Contact us with the product link, description, and intended quantity.
- Let us know if it contains batteries, liquids, chemicals, or high-value components.
- We will do our best to advise you based on current airline, carrier, and customs rules.
Our guidance is based on the information available at the time and cannot guarantee that customs, carriers, or authorities will always accept the item.
